The very first time I went to Ipoh is to explore Lost World of Tambun - Theme Park, Hotel and Hot Springs. We went in group of three's (It's better if the number is even for you to enjoy the rides). We stayed in Golden Roof Hotel Sunway, a three star hotel that's affordable and just nice for a short trip. It takes about 2 minutes to drive down to the Lost World of Tambun from our hotel so it's a plus point.
Next day, we let ourselves in the Theme Park and I could say it is entertaining, fun and thrilling place. You can click on this link to view the park map https://sunwaylostworldoftambun.com/park-map/. To note, we bought the tickets earlier from an agent (to get a cheaper offer) but I discovered after, KLOOK had a better offer. If you are planning to visit places do your research across the platform and you will be surprised by the offers you see. We took the whole day to enjoy every single park they had. There's the theme parks and night parks, they are family friendly and informative too. Food in theme parks are as expected standard, it is high-priced but mediocre in taste wise.
The next day, we Googled a famous breakfast spot in Ipoh and decided to visit Sin Yoon Long coffee shop as there were good reviews but instead, we went to Sun Yuan Foong coffee shop. The stall right in front selling noodles did the miracle, I ordered curry mee served with a few fucuks and I could tell that was the best curry mee I ever had. the broth, spiciness and taste were just mind-blowing to me. I have a high standard of taste (you will learn in my other posts) and this curry mee met them flawlessly. We also tried their toast, and chee cheong fun, It was nice. On the way back, I couldn't forget the curry mee and this was the beginning of my trips to Ipoh.
Stay tune and read more places and states raw reviews from me. Adios.
